But if you suffer as a follower of the Messiah, do not be ashamed, but esteem Alahym that you bear that name.
Suffering is a human reality! What sets followers of Messiah apart from others is that we do not suffer as evildoers and busybodies, but as stewards of the manifold favor of Alahym given to us in Messiah. We suffer in doing good, bearing it all in honor, because of the Name that we carry.
Our Messiah suffered unto death but stood firm in character. He set an example for us, demonstrating how we can “endure to the end” and be delivered.
