Let’s be real! There are some tradeoffs we have to make when we come into a relationship with Messiah. We can’t hang on to our old life and old ways and think we’ll make it into His eternal kingdom. Anyone who has experienced conversion to the faith will tell you that when you surrender your life to Messiah, He increases and you decrease. That is what it means to die to self, so that Messiah can live through you.
Think back to yesterday’s verse of the day (Qorintiyim Bĕt / 2 Corinthians 5:17) which connects nicely with today’s Daily Manna. In Messiah, we are a new creation. We put off our old ways. But it’s not going to always be easy, and we need the power of the Set Apart Spirit to achieve this.
Do you have a loved one you’re praying for who seems to be too bound up in lost living? Even if the situation seems impossible, remember that with YAH all things are possible. The only condition is that we must BELIEVE (Mark 9:23).
