Shemoth (Exodus)  Chapter 6

Alahym Promises Deliverance

² Alahym also told Moshe, “I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.h³ I appeared to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Ya‛aqoḇ, as Al Shadday but by My name 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 I did not make Myself known to them. ⁴ I also established My covenant with them to give them the land of Kena‛an, the land where they lived as foreigners. ⁵ Furthermore, I have heard the groaning of the Yasharalites, whom the Mitsrites are enslaving, and I have remembered My covenant.

⁶ Therefore tell the Yasharalites: ‘I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Mitsrites and deliver you from their bondage. I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment. ⁷ I will take you as My own people, and I will be your Alahym. Then you will know that I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 your Alahym, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Mitsrites. ⁸ And I will bring you into the land that I swore to give to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Ya‛aqoḇ. I will give it to you as a possession. I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄!’ ”

⁹ Moshe relayed this message to the Yasharalites, but on account of their broken spirit and cruel bondage, they did not listen to him.

¹⁰ So 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Moshe, ¹¹“Go and tell Pharaoh sovereign of Mitsrayim to let the Yasharalites go out of his land.”

¹² But in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄’s presence Moshe replied, “If the Yasharalites will not listen to me, then why would Pharaoh listen to me, since I am unskilled in speech?  ”

¹³ Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 spoke to Moshe and Aharon and gave them a charge concerning both the Yasharalites and Pharaoh sovereign of Mitsrites, to bring the Yasharalites out of the land of Mitsrayim.

Genealogies of Moshe and Aharon

¹⁴These were the heads of their fathers’ houses:

The sons of Re’uḇěn, the firstborn of Yasharal, were Ḥanoḵ and Pallu, Ḥetsron and Karmi. These were the clans of Re’uḇěn.

¹⁵The sons of Shim‛on were Yemu’ěl, and Yamin, and Ohaḏ, and Yaḵin, and Tsoḥar, and Sha’ul the son of a Kena‛anite woman. These were the clans of Shim‛on.

¹⁶These were the names of the sons of Luiy according to their records: Gěrshon, and Qehath, and Merari. Luiy lived 137 years.

¹⁷ The sons of Gěrshon were Liḇni and Shim‛i, by their clans.

¹⁸ The sons of Qehath were Amram, and Yitshar, and Ḥeḇron, and Uzzi’ěl. Qehath lived 133 years.

¹⁹ The sons of Merari were Maḥli and Mushi.

These were the clans of the Levites according to their records.

²⁰ And Amram married his father’s sister Yoḵeḇeḏ, and she bore him Aharon and
Moshe. Amram lived 137 years.

²¹ The sons of Yitshar were Qoraḥ, and Nepheḡ, and Ziḵri.

²² The sons of Uzzi’ěl were Misha’ěl, and Eltsaphan, and Sithri.

²³And Aharon married Elisheḇa, the daughter of Amminaḏaḇ and sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Naḏaḇ, and Aḇihu, El‛azar, and Ithamar.

²⁴The sons of Qoraḥ were Assir, Elqanah, and Aḇiyasaph.  These were the clans of the Qorḥites.

²⁵ Aharon’s son El‛azar married one of the daughters of Puti’ěl , and she bore him Pineḥas.

These were the heads of the Luyite families by their clans.

²⁶It was this Aharon and Moshe to whom 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said, “Bring the Yasharalites out of the land of Mitsrayim by their divisions.” ²⁷Moshe and Aharon were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh sovereign of Mitsrayim in order to bring the Yasharalites out of Mitsrayim.

²⁸ Now on the day that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 spoke to Moshe in Mitsrayim, ²⁹ He said to him, “I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄; tell Pharaoh sovereign of Mitsrayim everything I say to you.”

³⁰ But in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄’s presence Moshe replied, “Since I am unskilled in speech, why would Pharaoh listen to me?”

Shemoth (Exodus)  Chapter 7

Alahym Commands Moshe and Aharon

¹𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 answered Moshe, “See, I have made you like Alahym to Pharaoh, and your brother Aharon will be your prophet. ² You are to speak all that I command you, and your brother Aharon is to tell Pharaoh to let the Yasharalites go out of his land.

³ But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and though I will multiply My signs and wonders in the land of Mitsrayim, 4 Pharaoh will not listen to you.

Then I will lay My hand on Mitsrayim, and by mighty acts of judgment I will bring the divisions of My people the Yasharalites out of the land of Mitsrayim. ⁵ And the Mitsrites will know that I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, when I stretch out My hand against Mitsrayim and bring the Yasharalites out from among them.”

⁶ So Moshe and Aharon did just as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 had commanded them. ⁷ Moshe was 80 years old and Aharon was 83 when they spoke to Pharaoh.

Aharon’s Staff

⁸ 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Moshe and Aharon, ⁹ “When Pharaoh tells you, ‘Perform a miracle,’ you are to say to Aharon, ‘Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh,’ and it will become a serpent.”

¹⁰ So Moshe and Aharon went to Pharaoh and did just as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 had commanded. Aharon threw his staff down before Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a serpent.

¹¹ But Pharaoh called the wise men and sorcerers and magicians of Mitsrayim, and they also did the same things by their magic arts. ¹² Each one threw down his staff, and it became a serpent. But Aharon’s staff swallowed up the other staffs.

¹³ Still, Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he would not listen to them, just as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 had said.

The First Plague: Blood

¹⁴ Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Moshe, “Pharaoh’s heart is unyielding;  he refuses to let the people go. ¹⁵ Go to Pharaoh in the morning as you see him walking out to the water. Wait on the bank of the Nile to meet him, and take in your hand the staff that was changed into a snake. ¹⁶ Then say to him, ‘𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, the Alahym of the Hebrews, has sent me to tell you: Let My people go, so that they may worship Me in the wilderness. But until now you have not listened. ¹⁷This is what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 says: By this you will know that I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. Behold, with the staff in my hand I will strike the water of the Nile, and it will turn to blood. ¹⁸The fish in the Nile will die, the river will stink, and the Mitsrites will be unable to drink its water.’ ”

¹⁹And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Moshe, “Tell Aharon, ‘Take your staff and stretch out your hand over the waters of Mitsrayim—over their rivers and canals and ponds and all the reservoirs—that they may become blood.’ There will be blood throughout the land of Mitsrayim, even in the vessels of wood and stone.”

²⁰ Moshe and Aharon did just as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 had commanded; in the presence of Pharaoh and his officials, Aharon raised the staff  and struck the water of the Nile, and all the water was turned to blood. ²¹ The fish in the Nile died, and the river smelled so bad that the Mitsrites could not drink its water. And there was blood throughout the land of Mitsrayim.

²² But the magicians of Mitsrayim did the same things by their magic arts. So Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he would not listen to Moshe and Aharon, just as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 had said. ²³ Instead, Pharaoh turned around, went into his palace, and did not take any of this to heart. ²⁴ So all the Mitsrites dug around the Nile for water to drink, because they could not drink the water from the river.

²⁵ And seven full days passed after 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 had struck the Nile.

Shemoth (Exodus)  Chapter 8

The Second Plague: Frogs

¹Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Moshe, “Go to Pharaoh and tell him that this is what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 says: ‘Let My people go, so that they may worship Me. ² But if you refuse to let them go, I will plague your whole country with frogs. ³ The Nile will teem with frogs, and they will come into your palace and up to your bedroom and onto your bed, into the houses of your officials and your people, and into your ovens and kneading bowls. ⁴ The frogs will come up on you and your people and all your officials.’ ”

⁵And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Moshe, “Tell Aharon, ‘Stretch out your hand with your staff over the rivers and canals and ponds, and cause the frogs to come up onto the land of Mitsrayim.’ ”

⁶ So Aharon stretched out his hand over the waters of Mitsrayim, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Mitsrayim.

⁷ But the magicians did the same thing by their magic arts, and they also brought frogs up onto the land of Mitsrayim.

⁸Pharaoh summoned Moshe and Aharon and said, “Pray to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 to take the frogs away from me and my people. Then I will let your people go, that they may sacrifice to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.”

⁹ Moshe said to Pharaoh, “Explain yourself to me: When shall I pray for you and your officials and your people that the frogs (except for those in the Nile) may be taken away from you and your houses?”

¹⁰“Tomorrow,” Pharaoh answered.

“May it be as you say,” Moshe replied, “so that you may know that there is no one like 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 our Alahym. ¹¹ The frogs will depart from you and your houses and your officials and your people; they will remain only in the Nile.”

¹² After Moshe and Aharon had left Pharaoh, Moshe cried out to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 for help with the frogs that He had brought against Pharaoh. ¹³And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 did as Moshe requested, and the frogs in the houses, the courtyards, and the fields died. ¹⁴ They were piled into countless heaps, and there was a terrible stench in the land.

¹⁵When Pharaoh saw that there was relief, however, he hardened his heart and would not listen to Moshe and Aharon, just as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 had said.

The Third Plague: Gnats

¹⁶ Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Moshe, “Tell Aharon, ‘Stretch out your staff and strike the dust of the earth, that it may turn into swarms of gnats throughout the land of Mitsrayim.’ ”

¹⁷ This they did, and when Aharon stretched out his hand with his staff and struck the dust of the earth, gnats came upon man and beast. All the dust of the earth turned into gnats throughout the land of Mitsrayim.

¹⁸ The magicians tried to produce gnats using their magic arts, but they could not. And the gnats remained on man and beast.

¹⁹ “This is the finger of Alahym,” the magicians said to Pharaoh. But Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he would not listen to them, just as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 had said.

The Fourth Plague: Flies

²⁰ Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Moshe, “Get up early in the morning, and when Pharaoh goes out to the water, stand before him and tell him that this is what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 says: ‘Let My people go, so that they may worship Me. ²¹ But if you will not let My people go, I will send swarms of flies upon you and your officials and your people and your houses. The houses of the Mitsrites and even the ground where they stand will be full of flies.

²² But on that day I will give special treatment to the land of Goshen, where My people live; no swarms of flies will be found there. In this way you will know that I, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, am in the land. ²³ I will make a distinction between My people and your people. This sign will take place tomorrow.’ ”

²⁴ And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 did so. Thick swarms of flies poured into Pharaoh’s palace and into the houses of his officials. Throughout Mitsrayim the land was ruined by swarms of flies.

²⁵ Then Pharaoh summoned Moshe and Aharon and said, “Go, sacrifice to your Alahym within this land.”

²⁶ But Moshe replied, “It would not be right to do that, because the sacrifices we offer to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 our Alahym would be detestable to the Mitsrites. If we offer sacrifices that are detestable before the Mitsrites, will they not stone us? ²⁷ We must make a three-day journey into the wilderness and sacrifice to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 our Alahym as He commands us.”

²⁸ Pharaoh answered, “I will let you go and sacrifice to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 your Alahym in the wilderness, but you must not go very far. Now pray for me.”

²⁹“As soon as I leave you,” Moshe said, “I will pray to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, so that tomorrow the swarms of flies will depart from Pharaoh and his officials and his people. But Pharaoh must not act deceitfully again by refusing to let the people go and sacrifice to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.”

³⁰ Then Moshe left Pharaoh and prayed to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄t³¹and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 did as Moshe requested. He removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh and his officials and his people; not one fly remained. ³² But Pharaoh hardened his heart this time as well, and he would not let the people go.

Shemoth (Exodus)  Chapter 9

The Fifth Plague: Livestock

¹Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Moshe, “Go to Pharaoh and tell him that this is what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, the Alahym of the Hebrews, says: ‘Let My people go, so that they may worship Me. ²But if you continue to restrain them and refuse to let them go, ³ then the hand of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 will bring a severe plague on your livestock in the field—on your horses, donkeys, camels, herds, and flocks. ⁴ But 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 will make a distinction between the livestock of Yasharal and the livestock of Mitsrayim, so that no animal belonging to the Yasharalites will die.’ ”

⁵ 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 set a time, saying, “Tomorrow 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 will do this in the land.” ⁶ And the next day 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 did just that. All the livestock of the Mitsrites died, but not one animal belonging to the Yasharalites died. ⁷ Pharaoh sent officials and found that none of the livestock of the Yasharalites had died. But Pharaoh’s heart was hardened,  and he would not let the people go.

The Sixth Plague: Boils

⁸Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Moshe and Aharon, “Take handfuls of soot from the furnace; in the sight of Pharaoh, Moshe is to toss it into the air. ⁹ It will become fine dust over all the land of Mitsrayim, and festering boils will break out on man and beast throughout the land.”

¹⁰ So they took soot from the furnace and stood before Pharaoh. Moshe tossed it into the air, and festering boils broke out on man and beast. ¹¹ The magicians could not stand before Moshe, because the boils had broken out on them and on all the Mitsrites.

¹² But 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 hardened  Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not listen to them, just as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 had said to Moshe.

The Seventh Plague: Hail

¹³ Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Moshe, “Get up early in the morning, stand before Pharaoh, and tell him that this is what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, the Alahym of the Hebrews, says: ‘Let My people go, so that they may worship Me. ¹⁴ Otherwise, I will send all My plagues against you and your officials and your people, so you may know that there is no one like Me in all the earth.

¹⁵ For by this time I could have stretched out My hand and struck you and your people with a plague to wipe you off the earth. ¹⁶ But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display My power to you, and that My name might be proclaimed in all the earth. ¹⁷ Still, you exalt yourself against My people and do not allow them to go.

¹⁸ Behold, at this time tomorrow I will rain down the worst hail that has ever fallen on Mitsrayim, from the day it was founded until now. ¹⁹ So give orders now to shelter your livestock and everything you have in the field. Every man or beast that remains in the field and is not brought inside will die when the hail comes down upon them.’ ”

²⁰ Those among Pharaoh’s officials who feared the word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 hurried to bring their servants and livestock to shelter, ²¹ but those who disregarded the word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 left their servants and livestock in the field.

²²Then 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Moshe, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, so that hail may fall on all the land of Mitsrayim—on man and beast and every plant of the field throughout the land of Mitsrayim.”

²³ So Moshe stretched out his staff toward heaven, and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 sent thunder and hail, and lightning struck the earth. So 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 rained down hail upon the land of Mitsrayim. ²⁴ The hail fell and the lightning continued flashing through it. The hail was so severe that nothing like it had ever been seen in all the land of Mitsrayim from the time it became a nation.

²⁵ Throughout the land of Mitsrayim, the hail struck down everything in the field, both man and beast; it beat down every plant of the field and stripped every tree. ²⁶ The only place where it did not hail was in the land of Goshen, where the Yasharalites lived.

²⁷ Then Pharaoh summoned Moshe and Aharon. “This time I have sinned,” he said. “𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is righteous, and I and my people are wicked. ²⁸ Pray to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, for there has been enough of Alahym’s thunder and hail. I will let you go; you do not need to stay any longer.”

²⁹Moshe said to him, “When I have left the city, I will spread out my hands to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. The thunder will cease, and there will be no more hail, so that you may know that the earth is 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄’s. ³⁰ But as for you and your officials, I know that you still do not fear 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 our Alahym.”

³¹ (Now the flax and barley were destroyed, since the barley was in the ear (abib¹) and the flax was bolled; ³² but the wheat and spelt were not destroyed, because they are late crops.)

³³ Then Moshe departed from Pharaoh, went out of the city, and spread out his hands to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. The thunder and hail ceased, and the rain no longer poured down on the land.³⁴ When Pharaoh saw that the rain and hail and thunder had ceased, he sinned again and hardened his heart—he and his officials. ³⁵ So Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he would not let the Yasharalites go, just as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 had said through Moshe.

The Restoration of Israel (Jeremiah 30:1–17)

²⁵ This is what the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 says: ‘When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they have been scattered, I will show Myself holy among them in the sight of the nations.

Then they will dwell in their own land, which I have given to My servant Jacob. ²⁶ And there they will dwell securely, build houses, and plant vineyards. They will dwell securely when I execute judgments against all those around them who treat them with contempt. Then they will know that I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 their Alahym.’ ”

Yehezqĕl (Ezekiel)  Chapter 29

A Prophecy against Pharaoh

¹In the tenth year, on the twelfth day of the tenth month, the word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 came to me, saying, ² “Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Mitsrayim and prophesy against him and against all Mitsrayim. ³Speak to him and tell him that this is what the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 says:

Behold, I am against you,

O Pharaoh king of Mitsrayim,

O great monster who lies

among his rivers,

who says, ‘The Nile is mine;

I made it myself.’

⁴But I will put hooks in your jaws

and cause the fish of your streams

to cling to your scales.

I will haul you up out of your rivers,

and all the fish of your streams

will cling to your scales.

⁵ I will leave you in the desert,

you and all the fish of your streams.

You will fall on the open field

and will not be taken away

or gathered for burial.

I have given you as food

to the beasts of the earth

and the birds of the air.

⁶ Then all the people of Mitsrayim

will know that I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

For you were only a staff of reeds

to the house of Yasharal.

⁷ When Yasharal took hold of you with their hands,

you splintered, tearing all their shoulders;

when they leaned on you,

you broke, and their backs were wrenched. 

The Desolation of Mitsrayim

⁸Therefore this is what the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 says: I will bring a sword against you and cut off from you man and beast. ⁹ The land of Mitsrayim will become a desolate wasteland. Then they will know that I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

Because you said, ‘The Nile is mine; I made it,’ ¹⁰therefore I am against you and against your rivers. I will turn the land of Mitsrayim into a ruin, a desolate wasteland from Migdol to Syene, and as far as the border of Cush.  ¹¹No foot of man or beast will pass through, and it will be uninhabited for forty years.

¹² I will make the land of Mitsrayim a desolation among desolate lands, and her cities will lie desolate for forty years among the ruined cities. And I will disperse the Mitsrayin among the nations and scatter them throughout the countries.

¹³ For this is what the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 says: At the end of forty years I will gather the Mitsrites from the nations to which they were scattered. ¹⁴ I will restore Mitsrayim from captivity and bring them back to the land of Pathros, the land of their origin. There they will be a lowly kingdom.

¹⁵ Mitsrayim will be the lowliest of kingdoms and will never again exalt itself above the nations. For I will diminish Mitsrayim so that it will never again rule over the nations. ¹⁶Mitsrayim will never again be an object of trust for the house of Yasharal, but will remind them of their iniquity in turning to the Mitsrites. Then they will know that I am the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.”

Mitsrayim – the Reward of Neḇuḵaḏretstsar

¹⁷In the twenty-seventh year, on the first day of the first month, the word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 came to me, saying, ¹⁸ “Son of man, Neḇuḵaḏretstsar king of Baḇel caused his army to labor strenuously against Tyre. Every head was made bald and every shoulder made raw. But he and his army received no wages from Tyre for the labor they expended on it.

¹⁹ Therefore this is what the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 says: I will give the land of Mitsrayim to Neḇuḵaḏretstsar king of Baḇel, who will carry off its wealth, seize its spoil, and remove its plunder. This will be the wages for his army. ²⁰ I have given him the land of Mitsrayim as the reward for his labor, because it was done for Me, declares the Master 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

²¹ In that day I will cause a horn to sprout for the house of Yasharal, and I will open your mouth to speak among them. Then they will know that I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.”

The First Six Bowls of Wrath

¹Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven messengers, “Go, pour out on the earth the seven bowls of Alahym’s wrath.” 

²So the first messenger went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and loathsome, malignant sores broke out on those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. 

³ And the second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it turned to blood like that of the dead, and every living thing in the sea died.

⁴ And the third messenger poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they turned to blood. ⁵ And I heard the messenger of the waters say: 

“Righteous are You, O Set Apart One, 

who is and was, 

because You have brought these judgments. 

⁶ For they have spilled the blood of the set apart ones and prophets,

and You have given them blood to drink, 

as they deserve.” 

⁷ And I heard the altar reply: 

“Yes, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Al Shaday, 

true and just are Your judgments.” 

⁸ Then the fourth messenger poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given power to scorch the people with fire. ⁹ And the people were scorched by intense heat, and they cursed the name of Alahym, who had authority over these plagues. Yet they did not repent and give Him esteem. 

¹⁰And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness, and men began to gnaw their tongues in anguish ¹¹ and curse the Alahym of heaven for their pains and sores. Yet they did not repent of their deeds. 

¹² And the sixth messenger poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East. 

¹³ And I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. ¹⁴ These are demonic spirits that perform signs and go out to all the kings of the earth, to assemble them for battle on the great day of Al Shadday. 

¹⁵“Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who remains awake and clothed, so that he will not go naked and let his shame be exposed.” 

¹⁶ And they assembled the kings in the place that in Hebrew is called Har Meḡiddo. 

The Seventh Bowl of Wrath

¹⁷ Then the seventh messenger poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came from the throne in the temple, saying, “It is done!” 

¹⁸ And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, and a great earthquake the likes of which had not occurred since men were upon the earth—so mighty was the great quake. ¹⁹ The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. And Alahym remembered Babel the great and gave her the cup of the wine of the fury of His wrath. 

²⁰ Then every island fled, and no mountain could be found. ²¹ And great hailstones weighing almost a hundred pounds each rained down on them from above. And men cursed Alahym for the plague of hail, because it was so horrendous.
