Be kindly affectionate to one another in brotherly love, in honour giving preference to one another.
Are you able to put the interests of the Body of Messiah above your personal interests? This is the level Messiah wants us to reach, where our thoughts and actions reflect His way! At all times, Messiah has been and continues to love and protect us, as an honorable husband does for his wife. 1Co 12:12 says, “For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is the Messiah.” Eph 5:23 declares that, “…Messiah is head of the assembly, and He is Saviour of the body.” Messiah loves us so much that He laid down His life for us. So, too, husbands are admonished in Eph 5:28 to “love their own wives as their own bodies,” BECAUSE he who loves his wife loves himself. This demonstrates the meaning of the command, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself…” This is level that Messiah wants to reach in this life! So today, we pray that YAH Most High will endow each and every member of the body of Messiah with the humility of heart we need to pour out His love upon the Body of Messiah.
