Yoḥanan Aleph (1 John) 4:15

And we have come to know and believe the love that Alahym has for us. Alahym is love; whoever abides in love abides in Alahym, and Alahym in him.

Yoḥanan Aleph (1 John) 4:15

𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄! It is a much used-and often misused-word! But this 4-letter word, AHAB in Hebrew, is packed with meaning. The first time אָהַב (A-H-B or LOVE in Hebrew) appears in Scripture is Genesis 22:2. This is when the Almighty YAH told Aḇraham to take his son, who he LOVES, and go to the land of Moriyah, and offer him as a sacrifice on a mountain which he would specify.

This first mention of AHAB was quite purposeful! For it was the great foreshadowing of the Messiah’s offering many years later. Aḇraham was foreshadowing the perfect Passover offering of our Savior YAHUSHUA (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏). It later happened that when Aḇraham’s son asked him where the sacrificial animal was, he declared: 𝘼𝙡𝙖𝙝𝙮𝙢 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚… Thus, we have the compound Name of the Father as Provider: 𝗬𝗛𝗨𝗛 𝗬𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗵! Because it is the Father, YAHUAH (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄) who has provided for us the perfect love offering.
