The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of Alahym was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil.
“It is finished!” These famous last Words of Messiah, which he spoke right before He gave up His Spirit, declared a simple truth: that the actions He needed to take to spare us from the wages of sin—which is death—had been accomplished! He, by taking our place by becoming a substitute, paid our penalties so that we could be pardoned and have a new chance at eternal life! The enemy thought he won when he tricked Adam and his wife—Chuah—into doing what the Father told them not to! Interestingly, today, most people know Adam’s wife as “EVE,” which is not her real name. She is not the epitome of “evil,” like the devil is. In fact, her Hebrew name (חָוָה) is linked with “LIFE”—not death! She was called to be a “life giver!”
Satan has always hated the woman, who represents the Bride and Body of Messiah. We see that in the Book of Revelation, he goes after the woman to destroy her completely. The enemy does not target those who are already under his control. The remnant seed of the woman—who refuses the Mark of the Beast—is marked for death and destruction. In those days, Satan will come with full force against the Bride of Messiah, but we are assured that Messiah will deliver all those who trust in Him—even those who die a physical death to stay true to Him. He will hear the cries of the blood of the martyrs, just as the Father heard the cry of His blood. Ultimately, the murders of all the set-apart ones, starting with righteous Habel (Abel), will be avenged, and Satan—after being bound for 1,000 years in prison—will be utterly destroyed along with everyone who does his bidding, in the lake of fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
But all those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will stand from above and behold the final destruction of all evil forces. YAH will then restore all things anew, and He will live in eternal bliss with His children!
This is the hope that we cling to, even as we see the world sinking deeper and deeper into darkness. We know that this too shall pass, and the light of the Father will one day soon overtake the darkness.
🕊 Shalum aleichem! Peace be unto you!
