You cannot drink the cup of the Master and the cup of demons too; you cannot partake in the table of the Master and the table of demons too.
Participating in idolatry is a violation of the first and great command: “You shall love 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) your Alahym with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength,” as stated in MattithYahu (Matthew) chapter 22:34-40. This sin of idolatry kept an entire generation, hundreds of thousands of people, from crossing over from the wilderness to the Promised Land. The same will be true in our time, if we do not heed the warning being given to us today to flee Babylon! The Father is calling all His children to come out of her. Are you His child? Then you do not belong there!
Today, Babylon is not an empire ruled by a pompous king—it is a spiritual kingdom ruled by the Dragon himself – the Serpent of old; that is, Satan, who is also called the Devil. For this reason, we need to know what spiritual Babylon is today, so we can flee out of her and NOT receive the mark of the beast! We see that in the last days, even while the final plagues are poured out on those who refuse to repent from their wicked ways, that people will be participating in idolatry and immorality, especially sexual immorality.
The Laws of the Most High YAH, given to Moses (Hebrew Name – Moshe) at Mount Sinai demonstrate the Father’s righteousness! Debarim (Deuteronomy) 6:25 says: “And it is righteousness for us when we guard to do all this command before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 our Alahym, as He has commanded us.”
When the Father spoke at Mount Sinai, giving the first 10 commands, which are part of the body of hundreds of do’s and don’ts given in the Torah, he started out by cautioning the people against idolatry. He said: “I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 your Alahym, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other mighty ones before Me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in the heavens above, on the earth below, or in the waters beneath. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 your Alahym, am a jealous Alahym, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on their children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing loving devotion to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.” (Shemoth – Exodus 20:2-6)
Sure enough, the people committed a great sin soon afterwards, as we see in Shemoth 32. When Moshe ascended the mountain to meet with the Father, to receive further instructions for the people, they began to despair and fell into idolatry. They set up a new system of worship, partly based on the truth and partly based on lies. The golden calf, which represents the system of worship they were used to in Egypt, was called 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 – the one who had given them the 10 commands. They then participated in revelry – a false revival – which was tainted with acts of sexual immorality. Even Moshe’s brother, Aharon, the high priest at the time, was guilty, because to appease the people, he made the golden calf, which became the object of their worship.
In the last days, we will see a similar type of false worship being set up, and many people will be deceived. It will look like the real thing, some will even call upon the Set Apart Hebrew Names of the Father and the Son – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) and YAHUSHUA [𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏]. They will even do signs and wonders, to deceive even the very elect, if possible. This will be a universal false revival that will sweep the face of the earth, and those who will refuse to participate, knowing that this involves the worship of demons and ultimately Satan (Baal Zebub – ruler of demons), will be threatened with the penalty of death. Satan will set up a counterfeit so compelling to the untrained eye, that many will fall under its influence.
This is the reason why we need to be well rooted in the Word of Truth, and put on the full armor of YAH, so that we can stand in this day! We need to make a choice for ourselves and our households. The Father has clear commands against idolatry and He makes it plain that whenever we participate in false worship, we are fellowshipping with demons:
Lev 17:7 – So they shall no more sacrifice their sacrifices to goat demons, after whom they whore. This shall be a statute forever for them throughout their generations.
Deu 32:15-18 – “But Yasharun grew fat, and kicked; you grew fat, stout, and sleek; then he forsook Alahym who made him and scoffed at the Rock of his salvation. They stirred Him to jealousy with strange gods; with abominations they provoked him to anger. They sacrificed to demons that were no gods, to gods they had never known, to new gods that had come recently, whom your fathers had never dreaded. You were unmindful of the Rock that bore you, and you forgot Alahym who gave you birth.”
We see this stubborn spirit persisting at the end of time: “The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.” Rev 9:20-21
Where will we stand when it comes to worship? Will we follow the idolatrous ways of the world or will we seek to worship the Father in spirit and in truth, as He desires?
1Ki 18:21 says: “And AliYahu came near to all the people and said, ‘How long will you go limping between two different opinions? If 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is Alahym, follow him; but if Ba’al, then follow him.’ And the people did not answer him a word.”
Yahushua 24:15 says: “And if it is evil in your eyes to serve 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.”
Flee idolatry and sexual immorality! Worship the Father in spirit and in truth!
