Deḇarim (Deuteronomy) 28:13

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 will make you the head and not the tail; you will only move upward and never downward, if you hear and carefully follow the commandments of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 your Alahym, which I am giving you today.

Deḇarim (Deuteronomy) 28:13

I’ve often told my son: “Every action has consequences…” I learned this principle from the Scriptures. Over my years of studying the Word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 , it became clear that there are many conditional promises, notwithstanding the unmerited blessings we receive through the Father’s unconditional love. It is this same unconditional love, which He gave to us even before we were born into this world, that pursues us for a lifelong relationship. There are many people who will come into your life; many of them will also leave. However, one thing is certain: if we don’t reject His presence, the Father will NEVER leave us or forsake us! It is not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit that we come into an enduring love relationship with Him. It is because He first loved us that we receive of His love to give others! It is this same love that impels us to walk in the light of His Word, desiring to please Him through obeying His commands. Messiah Himself said, “If You love me you shall guard my commands.” I challenge you today to find those verses that echo this principle – the connection between love and obedience! It was there from the beginning!

Look at the consequences Adam and his wife Chuah (Eve) faced when they disobeyed the command to not eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The Father even told them what the consequence would be: sure and certain death! Satan beguiled them into disbelieving the Father, and because they failed to take the Word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 seriously, they dismissed the consequences and did exactly what they knew they should not have done. This is because Satan got them to think they would not suffer any consequences. He whispered in Chuah’s ear: “you shall not surely die.” He continues to deceive people with the same lie to this very day!

Commandment-keeping is for the old covenant; today, we are covered by “grace,” many people argue. However, Messiah continues to work to lift the veil from people’s eyes, so they can see the truth.

We find that in the final crisis, the remnant of the Body of Messiah has three key characteristics, according to Rev 12:17, 14:12 and 19:10:

  • the remnant keeps the commandments of Alahym
  • the remnant holds to the Witness of Messiah 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏
  • the remnant has the Spirit of Prophecy, which is the Witness of Messiah 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏

Messiah promises that, “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth (Rev 3:10).”

We need this blessed assurance now more than ever before!
