No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both Alahym and money.
A key character trait of those who do not love the Father 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) is that they love money, and some would do absolutely anything to get it. This is why the Scripture warns us that the love of money is the root of all evil, and Messiah even calls ill-gotten wealth “unrighteous mammom1.” Yet, He teaches us that money has a value and purpose in this world, and we should make sure that we give it its proper place, while not falling into the snare that entraps people who live according to the ways of the world. We should remember that we are servants of the Most High 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, so if there is ever a choice to make where we chose Him or gaining wealth, the decision should be as clear as crystal.
Romans 6:16-18 says: “Do you not know that when you offer yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves to the one you obey, whether you are slaves to sin leading to death, or to obedience leading to righteousness? But thanks be to Alahym that, though you once were slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were committed. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.”
May the Father 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 give you peace this day, through our Master and Saviour, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤅𐤏 the Messiah, as you and YOUR HOUSEHOLD abide in Him, believe in His Name, and do His will!
